The Siamese Fighters By Eden
Quietly,a mysterious Orange Cat approached a magical rock bath in the centre of an hidden cave with ferns and beautiful native bush. He stopped and then listened. Everything was still like the earth itself was still. A peculiar "SPLASH" came from the bath. There he saw a glowing Siamese fighter ( fish ) swimming around gloriously in misty water. Suddenly another Siamese fighter appeared.The ground separated, the backyard caught fire and surrounded the bath. Then a quick stroke of the strong fin and a Siamese fighter floated to its end. The cat panicked, closed its eyes to find everything gone.
Mrs Fraser - I really like your opening sentence, you immediately paint a picture in the readers mind. I like the way you have started your sentences in different ways. Keep up the great effort.
