Don’t
look back , I told myself. Just don’t look back. My breathing was becoming
faster and raspier the further I ran through the wild, overgrown trees. The
footsteps were gaining on me, I could hear their shallow breathing no matter
how fast I ran. You’re going to escape I told myself, they aren’t going to get
you. I could hear cars roaring past in the distance, a sign that I was so close
to escaping...I was powered by my adrenalin, running swiftly when suddenly I
slipped and fell. I looked up to see a large figure towering over me...
